Step off for the 2026 CARE Rockbridge Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Parade is January 19 at 10:30 a.m. from Randolph Street United Methodist Church, 118 S. Randolph Street, Lexington.
Important: Cars parked in the gathering area on Randolph Street or along the parade route on Preston, Main, Henry, and Jefferson will be ticketed and towed. If you are driving, please come a bit early to make sure that you can find parking outside the protected zone. The Roy Smith parking lot off of Varner and just below the gathering area is open as long as spaces are available. For parade participants who are unable to walk the route, we will be setting up a stable viewing area. Please let our organization know if you would like to participate from the view area by sending an email to leblancr1@icloud.com. Join us in front the Church a few minutes before step off to get the unique 2026 parade sticker Please remember to make your signs out of crushable materials, keeping in mind that the CARE MLK Parade is a nonviolent, family-friendly event. No weapons of any kind are permitted in CARE activities.
